"I used Slay The PE On-Demand Course. If you would like to pass this exam, you’re doing yourself a disservice not taking this course. " - Post by Reddit user zHaterade on June 28, 2023. [link to their full post]
"Used Slay The PE for my third attempt. Anyone looking for a prep course for TFS, I would only recommend Slay... They really helped me understand subjects instead of me trying to search for an equation in the mechanical reference handbook. They were able to break down subjects that seemed so complex..." - Post by Reddit user Barrowml87 on June 10, 2023. [link to their full post]

"I wanted to let you guys know that I passed my exam. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all that you folks do at Slay the PE. Thank you for getting me through this process!" - email sent to us by Live Class customer Jeanna M.
"Today I found out that I passed the PE Mechanical: Thermal and Fluid Systems in my first try. My resources for studying were the Slay the PE live course and the NCEES practice exam. I recommend the Slay the PE course to everyone. ... I felt comfortable during the exam. ....For me there was nothing in the exam that I haven’t seen before except for a question related to the actuator of control valves." "I would recommend Slay the PE for TFS study. Very similar to the test problems and helped me really learn the concepts." Posted by Reddit user Opening_Judge1384 on November 9, 2022 - [link to their Reddit comment]
"My undergraduate degree (though it is ABET accredited) is barely an engineering degree. It’s much more business/supply chain/sales than engineering. I say that because I didn’t get any thermo, HVAC, or heat transfer. All of these topics were brand new to me. I exclusively used Slay the PE’s study guide to teach myself these topics. I can’t speak highly enough about StPE’s content. They took someone who was completely unfamiliar with the test content to passing on the first try. If you get through the StPE study guide, you will have the knowledge you need to pass the test." Posted by Reddit user jms123456789 on September 17, 2022 - [link to their Reddit post]
"...you guys have been more than just amazing. From the study material, live course, practice exam, to the immediate support answering all type of questions. Thank you" Posted by Reddit user btanyous on August 24, 2022 - [link to their Reddit post]
"Slay the PE is the single best resource for studying for the Thermal Fluid Systems PE Exam. Going through and solving all the problem sets as well as working through their practice exam gave me a sense of mastery over the subjects that no other study resource did." "...found out I passed today... The only thing I studied was Slay the PE, I tried doing as many problems as I could in my limited time, the only practice exam I took was StPE, the ones I had trouble with I did more problems from the study guide." "I actually just got my results today and passed (woo!) and can't recommend Slay the PE enough. Their study guide is incredible and helped me understand thermo, fluids, psychometrics, and heat transfer better than any professor or my work has. Included in the price is access to a Slack channel that you can ask about any topic and they quickly respond with detailed answers." posted by Reddit user taylor31 on March 3, 2021 - [link to their comment on a Reddit thread]
"[Slay the PE] has a few pages of reading/explanation for each chapter before the practice problems begin. Outside of some rare googling... that was really all the reading I did. I really would recommend STPE, it was pretty comprehensive topic-wise when compared to the TFS text specifications and for what I saw on the actual test." posted by Reddit user Frumpking1 on March 9, 2022 - [link to their comment on a Reddit thread]
"I used mostly slay the PE and bought the NCEES practice test and the Eng Pro Guides practice test. I passed last month on my first try." posted by Reddit user echevez on January 11, 2022 - [link to their comment on a Reddit thread]
"Some questions are a bit harder than what you’d find on the actual exam, but so, so, so helpful. I think studying off of this exam was the difference between passing and failing for me. The power plant problems look scary and overwhelming, but reviewing these solutions taught me how simple they are when you break it down." posted by EngineerBoards.com user mckenz007 [link to post in EngineerBoards.com]
"SlayThePE practice test is the best out there for you to get a grip of the concept. But nonetheless all materials I used helped. But SlayThePE is just the better of these materials. Thank you SlayThePE" posted by EngineerBoards user Vel2018 [link to post in EngineerBoards.com]
"Definitely more difficult than the actual exam, but really helpful as it hit the right topics. Definitely worth the investment for the solutions." posted by EngineerBoards.com user sambisu [link to post in EngineerBoards.com]
"...your study guides and practice exam were excellent and are primarily the reason I passed the P.E. They were very effective at explaining how to solve problems and have certainly made studying a lot easier. I found the guides very helpful and have recommended them to anyone I knew who was planning on taking the PE " -- Nathan R., via e-mail
